Broccoli, Ham & Swiss Cheese Quiche

Directions

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Prepare the Pie Shell:
    Place the thawed pie shell on a baking sheet for stability.

  3. Add the Fillings:
    Evenly distribute the ham, Swiss cheese, and broccoli inside the pie shell.

  4. Make the Egg Mixture:
    In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg until well combined.

  5. Assemble the Quiche:
    Slowly pour the egg mixture over the ingredients in the pie shell.

  6. Bake:
    Place the quiche in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.

  7. Cool & Serve:
    Let the quiche cool for about 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!

  • 1 cup (150 g) chopped cooked ham
  • 1 cup (100 g) shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup (150 g) chopped broccoli
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup (240 mL) milk
  • 1/2 cup (120 mL) heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5 mL) salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1.25 mL) black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp (1.25 mL) ground nutmeg
