Shepard’s Pie

  1. Brown beef, chopped onion and carrot in skillet, about 6 minutes.
  2. Stir in water, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and stock. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Season, if desired, with salt and pepper.
  3. Turn beef mixture into 10″ (25 cm) deep-dish pie plate. Top with corn and potatoes.
  4. Preheat oven to 400˚F (200˚C). Bake 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium carrot, chopped
  • ½ cup (125 mL) water
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml) ketchup
  • 1 pot Knorr® Homestyle Stock - Beef
  • 3 cups (750 ml) hot mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup (250 ml) cream-style corn
