Sweet Potato Maple Soup

Directions
- Sauté onion and garlic in oil in a large saucepan over medium heat for 5 minutes until softened.
- Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
- Purée until smooth using a food processor, blender or hand blender.
TIP
Try other flavours of HEINZ® Beans. Original Beans with Brown Sugar & Bacon and the Original Beans in Tomato Sauce are both great.
Replace vegetable broth with chicken broth.
For a creamier soup, stir in 1 cup (250 mL) cream.
Add a drizzle of sour cream or maple syrup for a nice finishing touch.
Prepare a day ahead for convenience. It will thicken on standing so thin with additional broth to desired consistency.
